Compassion to Temptation

Compassion for others isn’t sustainable without compassion for self,

Especially because it’s a quest with no clean ending,

It’s tempting to pick up something that promises to bypass all that, probably at the fraction of effort and cost,

It’s almost as if the very extremity almost allows them them to tap into the deepest depths of their being, making them more indomitably alive,

Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not, remember what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.
