Don’t Go to Bed Angry
By Zaina Starr
My grandparents were married over sixty years. My grandmother always told of the fairy tale relationship we always desire. My grandparent’s relationship was quite different. They were happy and family focused. They were Christian and raised their children as Christians also.
I have noticed that majority of people do not believe in fairy tales. They don’t believe, simply, because if they have not experienced seeing a relationship like that. If they necer have seen it, then they do not believe. Well, I believe in fairy tales. My grandparents lived a fairy tale. They never fought, and they never went to bed mad at one another. They always forgave each other, no matter. Eventually, they developed a loyal bond of one another, each other’s best friend. Trust, loyalty is what we develop for the ones we love. Established.
That’s the kind of bond or relationship I desire. I feel like people don’t want to act this was because nobody believes in fairy tales anymore.
If you don’t appreciate them enough to not allow this then you don’t love them. Move on. In the end you’re going to hurt yourself and them even more.
